Affiliation

This guide participates in the GetYourGuide affiliate program. If you book through a link on these pages, GetYourGuide pays me a commission. For you, nothing changes: you pay the same as you would by going to GetYourGuide on your own.

Which links are

Every tour card, every "Book" button, and every availability box is an affiliate link to GetYourGuide, which is an online travel agency. It includes my partner code so that a booking can be attributed to these pages. Links between pages within this guide are not affiliate links. That’s all: no ads, no sponsored content, and no operator has paid for a position, a phrase, or an adjective.

What the commission doesn’t change

The easiest thing for someone earning a commission would be to say that you must book to enter the Castello Sforzesco. You don’t: the courtyards are free, and museum tickets can be bought at the ticket office, with free days and discounts that no online offer replicates. I write about this in a dedicated page, and in almost all the others.

Similarly, every offer is described for what it includes: the Last Supper tour does not enter the castle museums, the two audio guide tickets do not include a guide, the walk on the Merlate panoramiche is via stairs, the private tour has a clause on the minimum number of participants. These are things that lose bookings, and they remain written at the top of the pages. The six proposals, one by one.

No page displays a price, which removes the most common way an affiliate guide ends up praising what earns the most.

What I’m not

I am not a tour operator, I have no ties with the companies running the tours described here, I do not name them, and I cannot put anyone on a departure, hold a spot, or refund it. I am not the Castello, I am not the Municipality of Milan, and I am not the official museum website. If a page seems to say otherwise, it is wrong and I want to know: contact meWho writes this, and where they come from: about us.
